The interiors are quintessentially British, with Laura Ashley-style floral wallpaper, soft throws, a claw-foot slipper bath and pretty furnishings. It feels grown-up, while also wonderfully playful.

It's the enchanting local village that's the main pull here. Think thatched roof cottages, honey-coloured buildings, cobbled streets, real good British pubs and walking routes you'll never tire of.

This cottage is available to rent via Unique Homestays from July 2020 onwards. Prices start from £995 per week and £795 per short break, with space for up to six guests.
