Baesweiler based tuners, wheelsandmore, has detailed its tuning packages for the C8 generation Audi RS7.
Offering five different tuning packages for all manner of performance modification, the most “basic” of the bunch ups the 4,0-litre V8’s output to 521 kW by means of software modification for the engine and exhaust flap control – this package starts at €2 856 ( approximately R49 250) inclusive of installation.
Stage 2 raises the output to 581 kW, adding a sports air filter to the software modifications outlined above. Pricing for this package is €6 639 (approximately R114 540) including installation.
Performance increases are incremental for stage 3 and stage 4, with stage 5 offering the most extreme increase in performance and power output.
Stage 5 consists of a tuned ECU, altered software on the gearbox for increased clutch pressure, shortened shift times and adjustment of torque, a modified stage 2 turbocharger, new stainless-steel exhaust system with sports catalytic converter, removal of the centre-box, modified air intake system with large volume air filter box, sports air filter, enlarged hoses and a significantly larger intake manifold and racing engine oil. All of these modifications amount to an output of 731 kW, however an astonishing 780 kW is possible on 102 octane fuel.
The stage 5 package costs €25 209 (R434 409) with an added cost of €1 261 (R20 964) for installation.
Additionally, wheelsandmore will offer uprated suspension gubbins for your C8 RS7 in the form of a KW coil spring set, with which the adaptive dampers still work perfectly. At a cost of €4 622 (R79 744) one can have a full set of coilovers, however it is noted that these are not compatible with the air suspension system.
22-inch wheels are available along with special requests such as manufacturer logos in the centre caps, own brand milling and even engraving.
