MILANO Series Pizza Ovens come in versions fueled by wood, wood and propane, or wood and natural gas. Each version can be configured with or without a stainless steel stand with castors for mobility.
The Pompeii-style dome of the MILANO Series incorporates six inches of ceramic fiber blanket insulation which, along with a two-inch thick refractory oven floor, translates to higher thermal mass for better, more evenly-distributed heat retention. As a result, it cooks Neapolitan pizza (among many other foods) in just 90 seconds, all while keeping the exterior of the oven cool to the touch. This superior insulation also ensures a more fuel-efficient oven, whether fueled by wood, propane or natural gas, or both.
What's more, gas-fired units do not require wood storage and cutting, temperature monitoring, or soot and ash removal and cleaning. This, coupled with an optional double-insulated chimney and exhaust fan, means the oven can even be used indoors. With its traditional brick-and-clay design, the MILANO Series requires only a three-day initial break-in period. It also offers a traditional aesthetic that blends in seamlessly with existing home décor. And with an exterior that comes in either tile or stone in an assortment of colors, the ovens can be tailored according to customers' preferred style.
